Ah footy, I miss you,
The seas of fans,
The red, white and black,
On the attack,
As they prowl through the oval,
All looking so jovial,
Go red, white, black,
Don’t go slack,
The end is in sight,
So lift up your might,
To the heavens,
So the saints can smite our demons,
Where angels and saints,
Praise our great team,
And pictures and paints,
The glorious dream,
That’s one day forthcoming,
Hopefully soon,
The red, white and black coach will be over the moon,
As Santa rains north coming Make a wish!
Says red, white and black faithfuls,
Who have been waiting too long,
Yes, to sing our treasured song,
Will we remember how it goes?
When that treasured siren blows,
Saints fans will erupt from their seats,
Victory is ours! an escape from our woes,
As the drums of st Kilda band beats,
Cries of success are poured around the ground, and into the streets,
59 years since that beautiful sound, and every saints fan turns to greets,
Of saintly success, the red, white and black roar,
The premiership cup will be with St Kilda, once more.
