Dis-Ability,

Why can’t I just be me?

The world says,

“Play by our rules!”

I want to reply,

Stuff that! As I cry,

We want to be heard, people like me,

Our flags are raised,

Please, hear our plies,

Let’s fight for our fates,

And strip our pasts,

Pave a way for our futures,

Where we can be our wildest delights,

Help us,

Society, Politics, Religion too,

We just want to be accepted,

For our beautiful souls,

Allow us,

To reach up to the light,

Be brave,

Be spontaneous,

Be our own unique powerful selves,

Our own unique hearts,

Beating of every colour and beautiful race,

The heart doesn’t judge,

Instead it feels,

It can feel the finest jolts and pressures,

Our hearts can be so sensitive,

And it lets us be of so true,

To ourselves,

To the world,

Who needs this now than ever before,

Let us wake up the world,

With arrows drawn,

To conquer the hearts of those who are closed off to the new age,

Light, save us from those who want us to hate,

Instead help us Crystal children pave a way,

Waiting for a day when we don’t have to be brave,

Society will except us,

As our own unique talents will wage war on the bitterness in this world,

So all that’s left is the dawn of the new glorious independence and happiness for all.

Disability vs Ability; world. What will it be?
